Practice & Experience
Artistik License (affectionately AL) began as a blog back in 2013, with the intention of providing artists with easily accessible legal information. The first piece published was received with a lot of enthusiasm from the creative community, who continue to support and guide the work Artistik License does as a legal and business consultancy for independent arts, artists and creative professionals.
Founded by entertainment, IP and artist lawyer, Manojna Yeluri, Artistik License provides legal counsel to creative professionals, and assists them in making more informed choices about their work.
AL is a labour of love, as much as it is a realisation of the dream to make long-lasting changes to the creative economy in India and South Asia, albeit one contract at a time.
Artistik License is committed to demystifying the nuances of entertainment law, music law and music business, art law, creative entrepreneurship and artist contracts. If you are an artist or creative professional in need of clarity or assistance with your legal needs, AL is here for you.
A collection of media featuring conversations with Manojna, touching on topics such as artist rights, intellectual property law, creative entrepreneurship and women at work.
